Soil Investigation Test

Soil test

Anyone wishing to renew or install an individual foul drainage system in France must first submit a dossier to the drainage authority in order to obtain permission.

The dossier includes an application form (specific to each SPANC area) that the property owner must complete and sign.

  • Site soil test results.
  • Percolation test results or estimated soil infiltration capacity.
  • Diagrams of soil structure.
  • Design filtration system or installation instructions for chosen micro station.
  • Property’s location.
  • Extract boundary details from the Cadastre.
  • Plan de masse for installation and site planning.
  • Details the system’s interconnected levels and wastewater flow gradients.
  • Property and proprietor details.
  • Details on maintenance requirements and commitments.
  • Trace existing drainage installations.
  • To construct this document, consider site soil characteristics, available space, and customer requirements.

“Armour Environnement” can complete this duty for individual homes, camp sites and gite complexes in Brittany and lower Normandy.
